Within the Family Medicine Department of the TCI Hospital, we provide complete care for the entire family at all stages of life. Our physicians work closely with other health professionals, utilizing consultations or referrals as appropriate to provide seamless comprehensive care for you and your family. We promote effective communication with patients and encourage the role of the patient as a partner in health care. At both centres we focus on specific patient care needs related to health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counselling, patient education, as well as diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. Our hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday except on public holidays. We encourage making appointments as far in advance as possible, although at the Cockburn Town Medical Centre same-day appointments are offered when available.
