The team work to deliver the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within our facilities. All members of the team are trained using microfiber cleaning systems, environmentally friendly products and processes enhancing cleanliness and care for our patients, the building and for the wider environment. The team follow stringent quality checks, and work closely with the Infection Control Department ensuring a safe, hygienic and clean facility at all times.
The Portering team work 24 hours to support the clinical staff with transfer of samples, equipment and most importantly the safe and efficient movement of our patients. They double as support for Housekeeping during emergency situations, and for out of hours issues, and support the Security Department where ever necessary.
